The picture below shows a larger view of this 1960s Unused Cracker Jack Advertising Movie Prop Box. We had acquired several of these 1930s design Cracker Jack advertising boxes. The box included here is very nicely made and appears to be an original in every way except for the fact that it is very bright and clean. It even have cuts and fold areas as they would normally be made. It is flat, not folded, and unused. It is quality printed and beautiful! We have done some research on these 1930s style boxes because they seemed just too clean for the age. These card stock paper boxes had been printed in the 1960s by a company called Earl Hays Press of 1121 N. Las Palmas Ave, Hollywood 38. The printing company had moved from Hollywood to Sun Valley, California since the boxes were made. We contacted the company and verified the origin of the boxes, but no one present could provide more information on the exact year or movie they were used in. They were produced by the printing company for Universal TV Studio and were sent to a man named John Maitures of their Property Department in the 1960s. It is a 1-3/4 ounce box and measures 9-3/4" x 8-7/8". It is in mint unused condition as pictured and ready for framing. The picture is representative of the items for sale. Some items may be available in quantity. |
