The book has (118) pages filled with Annual Report information of the Municipal Officers of the Town of Woodstock, Maine ending January 31st, 1944. The book was printed in 1944 by A. M. Chase & Company of Bryant Pond, Maine. The cover has a Service Star Flag with (72) stars, one for each servicemen seving the United States in World War II. On the inside of the cover is a list of all (72) men as well as five men that were honorably discharged from service. The graphic artwork on the back cover has a 4th War Loan Uncle Sam holding Adolf Hitler and Hideki Tojo by the throat. The ad is marked as follows: PINCERS MOVEMENT ON THE HOME FRONT! BUY MORE WAR BONDS. The booklet measures 5-7/8'' x 9''. It is in good condition with some soiling to the cover from handling and a name on the back in pencil as pictured. |
