The picture shows all (12) Small Old Eastern Star Fraternal Items in this lot.

The first item in this lot is a 1930 framed item. At first I thought that this frame contained a card, but I was wrong. The Eastern Star image, background, and wording are all very nicely reverse printed on glass. The gold painted or gilded frame has flowers within a spiral band. It was made in 1930 by C. & A. Richards of Boston, Massachusetts as stated in the lower left side as well as on the back label. The printed glass is in mint condition. The frame has only very light wear. On the back there is a ring to hang it and an easel section to stand it up. The easel does have a couple creases. There is an image of the Eastern Star emblem, (16) gold stars, rays, and some wording in a copper colored box that reads as follows:

THE STAR THAT
EVER SHINES ~~
SENDING FORTH ITS
CHEERING RAYS OF
FRIENDSHIP AND
COMPANIONSHIP
ALONG LIFE'S
RUGGED PATH,
AND GLEAMING
WITH THE GLORY
OF THE ETERNAL.
© C. & A. RICHARDS, 1930.

There is a 1940 Golden Anniversary Booklet. It is a (12) page booklet with a gold cover. The inside pages are all in mint condition and the cover has only light wear from handling. The cover has an image of the Eastern Star and is marked as follows:

1890 - 1940
GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATION OF
MAGDALENE CHAPTER, NO. 28, O.E.S.
MAYNARD, MASSACHUSETTS

Next is a 1935 Membership Card from

MARTHA WASHINGTON CHAPTER NO. 21, O.E.S. of GLOUCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS

The card is filled in and signed. It has an embossed stamp. On the back are emblems, more wording and names. It does have some wear as pictured, probably from being in a wallet.

Next is an old

ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR

celluloid pocket mirror. It is a rectangular mirror. The print side is white with an Eastern Star image. It is clean except for light water marks at the top and bottom right corners. There is no damage to the mirror.

Next is an old brass dial perpetual calendar. The back has an image of the Eastern Star emblem. This calendar is dated 1950 - 1977. It is copyrighted by Cross Emblems of Portland, Maine. It is bright and shiney (not showing up in the scan) and in mint condition.

There is an old celluloid pinback button with a hanging ribbon. It has an image of a mountain peak with a building on top as well as the eastern Star emblem. There is a Bastian Brothers paper insert in the back. The ribbon is very fragile and coming apart at the top. There are surface cracks on the celluloid button but it is all intact. The badge and ribbon are marked as follows:

MOUNT WASHINGTON, N.H.
GRAND CHAPTER
.O.E.S.
NEW HAMPSHIRE
VISITOR

There are (2) old celluloid pin back buttons. These each have an image of five women within the Eastern Star emblem and the letters "FATAL" around the star. One of these has surface cracks and the other does not.

Next is an old

"PINE HILL NO. 60"

pin with hanging charms. There is a tiny hanging hammer and the other is the Eastrn Star hanging by chains. The star is enameled. It is not marked on the back, but this could be made of gold. It appears to be in mint condition.

Next is another old Eastern Star pin. It has some enameling. It too is not marked on the back, but this could be made of gold. It appears to be in excellent condition.

The last items in this lot are (2) different 25 year Eastern Star pins. One is in a marked box from

"CROSS EMBLEMS of PORTLAND, MAINE"

They are both in mint condition.

All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the frame measures 4-1/8" x 6".
