There are two pictures showing a view of all (52) Old Play Money Coins in this lot. In the first batch all of the coins are made of aluminum except two copper pennies. One side of these has the denomination and the other side is marked "GRIMLAND PLAY COIN". The second batch is a complete boxed set of (16) plastic coins and the card shown. These are more of a novelty or joke item then play money. these are believed to be from the 1970's. The card is a "NO TIP CLUB MEMBERSHIP CARD". The back has a U.S. Tipping Guide. The two sides of the coins are marked as follows: NO TIP FOR NO SERVICE THIS COIN REPRESENTS THE TRUE VALUE OF YOUR SERVICE NOTHING! I'm sure that one of these left on a table would anger any waitress! The largest coin in this lot measures 1-1/16" wide. They range from excellent to mint condition. |
