The picture shows a view of both sides of all (3) Different Small Old Fireman Token Coins in this lot. None of these are dated but all of them are old. The first coin has a hole so it could be used as a pendant, charm, or medallion. It appears to be made of copper or brass. One side has an early fire engine on one side and a firefighting emblem on the other with a helmet, ladder, and nozzle. It is marked ''FIREMAN'S TOURNAMENT''. The second coin or token has a firefighting emblem on a badge on one side and a brandy or wine drink glass on the other. There is a number ''5'' on the glass but we do not know what it was for. The badge reads ''POINT PLEASANT FIREMAN'S ASSN. INC.''. The non-magnetic metal it is made from is unknown. The third item was probably made to go on a small award item. It is made of enameled copper. It doesn't show up well in the picture, but the center emblem section is enameled in red and black. It is marked ''SGT. BLUFF - 9 YEARS''. To judge the sizes the first token measures 3/4'' wide. These appear to range from good to near mint condition as pictured. |
