| | | The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Imprinted Alaska State Advertising Souvenir Drink Glasses in this lot. These two glasses are identical and both imprinted sides are shown. These are not dated but they are believed to be from 1959 or the early 1960s. Alaska became a state of the United States on January 3rd, 1959. These are basically like oversized shot glasses. They are imprinted in yellow and brown with a totem pole on one side and the state of Alaska the ''49th STATE'' on the other side with many cities and towns including the following: POINT BARROW KOTZEBUE NOME BETHEL FAIRBANKS ANCHORAGE KODIAK SKAGWAY SITKA These advertising souvenir glasses each measure 3-1/16'' tall. They appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured. |
