These items are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s to the 1970s. They may have been purchased as a souvenirs or gifts in a store, or it may have been won at one of the Boardwalk arcade games. Included in this lot are the following items: There is a makeup or cosmetic folding mirror. One side fits inside the other. There are two mirrors on it. The case is made of brown plastic with a gold imprint of sea gulls, clouds, and “ASBURY PARK, NEW JERSEY”. It also has a Buddha sticker and it is marked “MADE IN HONG KONG”. There is an imprinted metal drink coaster. It pictures the Convention Hall, a beach or surf fisherman, surfers, a sailboat, and seagulls. It is marked “ASBURY PARK, NEW JERSEY” and “MADE IN HONG KONG”. Next there is an old porcelain miniature coffee or tea cup. It is white with a gold rim and a gold “ASBURY PARK, N.J.” on the side. The final item in this lot is a yellow plastic banana harmonica keychain. It has a brass bead chain. It is marked “I WENT BANANAS AT ASBURY PARK, N.J.” and “HONG KONG”. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the banana harmonica measures about 6'' long. These items appear to be to be in excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
