The picture shows a view of all (13) Different Colorful Old Historic Bread End Labels in this lot. These old bread end labels are not dated, but they are believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. They are all from the same series called ''PORTRAITS OF FAMOUS EVENTS IN AMERICAN HISTORY''. The labels are not numbered and we do not know how many there are in the set. Each of these has a date, an event in American History, and some text on each on a shield. They cover a variety of American subjects (see list below). In the order pictured, they are marked as follows:

1742 - Faneuil Hall (Boston, Massachusetts)
December 16,1773 - Boston Tea Party (Boston, Massachusetts)
July 4, 1776 - Declaration of Independence
1793 - Invention of The Cotton Gin
September 16, 1802 - Capitol Building Started
March 16, 1802 - West Point Established
October 28, 1886 - The Statue of Liberty
November 28, 1895 - First U.S. Auto Race
April 22, 1898 - Rough Riders (Theodore Roosevelt)
December 30, 1903 - Iroquois Theatre Fire
December 17,1903 - First Airplane Flight (Wright Brothers)
May 20 - 21, 1927 - Lindbergh Flies Atlantic (Charles Lindbergh)
December 7, 1941 - Bombing of Pearl Harbor (World War II)

The bread end labels each measure about 2-3/4'' x 2-3/4''. They appear to range from poor to good condition. They have wear, wrinkling and creasing as pictured. Some have some bread wrapper paper with pink elephants on the back. A few have some missing paper. They appear to have been removed from an album at some point.
