The picture shows all (8) Old Boy Scout Items in this lot. First there is an old unused packet of (35) business cards. I was told that this Massachusetts Council no longer exists. In the picture the box is at the top right and one of the cards is shown below it. The box and all of the cards are in mint condition. The dispenser box is made of paper but colored to look like leather. The business cards have the Boy Scouts emblem in gold and are marked as follows: BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA GREATER LOWELL COUNCIL, INC. EDWARD W. BUTLER SCOUT EXECUTIVE 49 KIRK STREET LOWELL, MASS. GLenview 3-1726 Next is an old OFFICIAL BOY SCOUT POCKET KIT FOR CUTS. The packet is complete. It contains an instruction sheet, a paper tube container with (5) Mercurochrome glass tube bottlettes, and (5) sealed Band-Aid brand bandages. The packet was from the National Supply Service. It is in near mint condition. Next is a small old (8) page booklet entitled HOW TO WEAR SCOUTINGS DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARDS. Inside are images of the Silver Buffalo, Antelope, and Beaver awards as well as service stars and an embroidered knot patch. It is in near mint condition. Next is an old First Aid card. This looks similar to a playing card. It has the images pictured and instructions for INSUFFLATION (rescue breathing) on the back. It is in mint condition and marked: CHARLESBANK DISTRICT MINUTEMAN COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA Next is a 1951 stamped advertising post card from the KIFFE SALES COMPANY of New York City. It advertises Kapok Life Vests, D.D.T. Bombs, Wool Camp Blankets, Army Sewing Kits, and Angle Flashlights (pictured). It has some creasing and scuff marks. It has a 1951 New York post mark and is addressed to: BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA MATTUCK COUNCIL 43 E. MAIN ST. WATERBURY, CONN. Next is an old colorful celluloid pin back button. It pictures a Boy Scout. In the back is a paper insert from the Whitehead & Hog Company of Newark, New Jersey. It has a small indent and light wear. Next is another old celluloid pinback button. This one has a paper inset that reads: THE FELT CRAFTERS, PLAISTOW, N.H.. It has some water spots as pictured. It reads: SCOUTARAMA WANT A TICKET? The last item in this lot is an undated imprinted ribbon. It is a blue ribbon with gold print. It is in mint condition. It pictures the Boy Scout emblem and is marked as follows: ROCHESTER FAIR ROCHESTER, N.H. I VISITED THE BOY SCOUT EXHIBIT All of these for one price!
