The picture shows a front and back view of this Old Boxed Map Measuring / Compass Tool. It was made in Germany. I do not know when it was made, but it is not new. It appears to have never been used. It looks like a pocket watch, but on one side is a compass. On the other side (with the use of the wheel at the bottom) measures the distance on a map. It converts inches to miles and centimeters to kilometers. It works perfectly as it was when it was new. The box is blank with the exception of one edge that reads: "MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY". This device or tool measures 3" tall. It is in mint condition.
