The picture shows this Set Of (12) Western & Cowboy Hero Pin Back Buttons. All of these depict either western or cowboy heroes of the past. The reason why I called it a set above is that I have had these several times in past years and have only ever seen (12) different ones like these. There is a set of (12) Native Ameican Indians as well but they are not included here. I don't know where these came from but were most likely a premium. My best guess would be from either Nabisco Cereal or a cigarette / tobacco company. Included in the lot, in order of appearance are:

DANIEL BOONE
JIM BOWIE
JIM BRIDGER
DAVY CROCKET
GENERAL CUSTER
BUFFALO BILL CODY
JESSE JAMES
BILLY THE KID
KIT CARSON
WILD BILL HICKOK
BAT MASTERSON
SAM HOUSTON

The pins each have the above names on the fronts and "Made In U.S.A." on the edge. They are not dated but believed to be from the 1950's. The Pins measures 7/8" across and are in excellent to near mint condition. One is missing its pin but it can be easily replaced.
