The picture shows all (6) Old Wagon / Carriage Photographs in this lot. The first one has a nicely dressed driver and there appears to be a Victorian woman in the carriage with a large hat on. The back of this one reads: "OUR ONE HORSE POWER, POTSDAM". The second one has two women in a carriage in front of a home. The third is a real photo post card. It pictures people in a wagon outside of the WIGWAM INN. Near the top of the wagon it reads: "THE WIGWAM INN GUEST RANCH, LITCHFIELD PARK, ARIZONA - FEATURING THE FINEST GUEST COMFORT - ACTION, REST, AND BEAUTIFUL". Next is a family by and in a carriage but with no horse. Next there is a picture of another Victorian woman standing by a carriage that is about to enter a tunnel. There is a person riding a bicycle out of the tunnel. There are a few words on the back that I can not make out. The last photo here appears that it may be a reprint of an older negative. It has a boy walking a horse who is pulling a wagon of children. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the postcard measures 5-1/2" x 3-1/2". All of these are in excellent or better condition except the postcard. That image is fine, but the back has some torn paper and paste from being in a scrap book at some point. |
