| | | The pictures below shows a larger views around this Colorful Old Boxed and Dressed Quebec Canada Citadel Guard Toy Doll. The inner flaps and bottom of the box also picture Guards as well. The doll is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1960s. It is not marked that we can see, and the maker is unknown. The doll is made of plastic and it has a cloth uniform. He is holding a metal rifle or gun with a bayonet. The doll has moving eyes, jointed arms, Painted lips, and painted shoes. All of the box sides are colorful. The top pictures crowns and maple leaves. The bottom pictures a Guard with a goat and reads: ''THE VAN DOOS OF QUEBEC - ERIC''. The sides of the box gives a bit of History of ''The Citadel'' in French and in English. The doll measures about 7-1/4'' tall. The window box is bright and clean and the doll appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
