| The pictures shows views of this Colorful Old Boxed Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head Toy Kit. The set is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1950s. The pictures show the box cover, the box inserts with the cars, boat, and trailer, the four box side panels, all of the included parts (bodies and hands are in the cars), the Mrs. and & Mr. Potato Head instructions, and the advertising on the bottom of the box. This early set has the old styrofoam head sections to hold the parts. The set is before a potato head existed. At this time real potatoes were being used for the head. The set has many parts and we have also added a few old parts that were around here. There are also three of the controversial smoking pipes included. Both of the original brochure instruction sheets are included. The colorful box pictures Mr. Potato Head in his car pulling a boat and Mrs. Potato Head in her car pulling her shopping trailer. The box top and sides are marked as follows: MR. AND MRS. POTATO HEAD YOU'LL ENJOY THEM AS THEY SCOOT ALONG IN THEIR CARS WITH BOAT AND SHOPPING TRAILERS. MR. AND MRS.
