The pictures show a view of all (17) Different Miscellaneous 1800s Victorian Paper Doll Items in this lot. These were found among a collection of paper dolls from 1895. There are some that are from different sets as can be seen in the picture. They are all made of paper. Someone had gone through much trouble cutting these out back in the day. The ones in the first picture are blank on the back. The ones in the second picture appear to have been cut out of old magazines. There are (2) paper doll girls, a running man, a dressed dog holding a dressed rabbit, and a clown riding backwards on a donkey with a black boy on a camel (missing head). There is a horse drawn carriage with three men, cat characters with clothes and hats, and two mouse or mice cut outs. At some point they had been stored in a magnetic photo album and received some discoloration on the back from them but they will still display nicely. They are all flat as made. To judge the sizes the carriage with horses measures about 9'' wide. These are in various conditions as pictured. |
