| | | | The picture shows three views of this 1936 Captain Frank Hawks Sky Patrol Premium Brass Toy Ring. The ring is believed to be a mail away premium from Post cereals. Captain Frank Hawks (1897 - 1938) was a Pilot and instructor for the U.S. Army during World War I. He had held some flight records and was a spokesman for Post Cereals. He was most likely an inspiration to many children. The ring is made of brass. It has a raised image of Capt. Frank Hawks in the center. There is a cloud background and a propeller design. It is marked as follows: CAPT. HAWKS SKY PATROL To judge the size the ring measures 5/8'' tall. It appears to be in mint condition with all of its luster as pictured. |
