| | | | The picture shows a view of all (5) 1947 Drug Store Fire and Fireman Photographs in this lot. These are all black & white and they are dated June, 1947. These are not marked so the location is unknown. The first photo has a man on a ladder and another man in a window. There is a ''CANDY'' sign. The second photo has Firemen on a ladder at a store front. They have a fire hose and an old nozzle. The signs that can be seen in this one are ''DRUGS'', ''FILMS'', ''CIGARS'', ''COCA-COLA'', ''DRUGS'', and ''COCA-COLA''. The third photo has three fireman. The one facing the camera has a helmet that reads ''CAPTAIN ENGINE 1 TWFD''. Another has a coat that reads ''ENG. 1 #3''. The fourth photo is of a group of people in front of a store during this fire. The signs that can be read are two ''Coca-Cola'' signs, ''NEWBERRY'S FOR SEEDS'', ''MEAT - FISH - GROCERIES''. The fifth and last photo has another three fireman fighting this fire. The photos each measure 3-1/4'' x 4-1/2''. They are in mint as made condition. |
