The picture shows all (7) Tiny Old Rochester, New Hampshire Scenic Theatre Photographs in this lot. Also shown are closer views of two of the photos. Three of the photos are taken from across the street, one is from the sidewalk, two are from under the (now gone) marquee, and one is in the street with boys holding an old movie poster on the back of an old car. I can't tell what they are, but there are several old time movie posters and signs outside the theatre. The Marquee reads "SCENIC - THE SISTERS - BETTY DAVIS ERROL FLYNN"What I can read on the poster the boys are holding is: SCENIC ROCHESTER, N.H. KIDNAPPED CRIME SCHOOL BANK NIGHT SINNERS IN PARADISE HOLD THAT KISS These are not dated, but I did a little research on the movies advertised and they turn out to be from 1938. To judge the sizes the six smaller photographs each measure about 1-5/8" x 2-1/16". They are in excellent as made condition. |
