The picture shows a view of this 1929 Woolworth Building New York City Post Card. The postcard has a very detailed image. It has a 1929 New York postmark and a one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp. There is a short message and it is addressed to a South Tamworth, New Hampshire address. The post card was made in the U.S.A. and is copyright Irving Underhill of New York. The information on the back reads as follows:

WOOLWORTH BUILDING, Cathedral of Commerce.
Highest Building in the World. Height 792 ft. 60 stories. Gothic Architecture. 12,000 people occupy the building. There are 3,000 offices. Contains 24 High Speed Elevators that can travel at the rate of 750 ft. per minute. The Power Plant generates sufficient electrical energy to supply the requirements of a city of 50,000 population.

The postcard measures 5-1/2'' x 3-1/2''. It is in good condition with light wear and creasing.
