The picture shows a view of the (3) Small Old U.S. Army Air Corps Pins in this lot. The center one is enameled. They are all believed to be from the United States Army Air Corps. The first one is a gold painted resin type material pin. It is a set of wings with an airplane propeller. Next is a two part enameled sterling silver pin. The two sections are connected by a tiny silver chain. The smaller sections of the two is a set of wings with an airplane propeller. The larger section has a globe with a stylized plane flying over it. The back is marked as follows: LE VELLE & CO. WASHINGTON, D.C. PHILA, PA. STERLING The third one is is a set of wings with an airplane propeller with a painted ribbon in front. This set is made of hard white plastic. It reads: AIR CORPS To judge the sizes the left one pictured measures 1-3/4" wide. They are in very good to mint condition, but could use a cleaning if desired. |
