This colorful plate has much Russian writing on the back which we can not read. It is dated 1988 and it is numbered. We believe that this is one from a series of different collector plates. There is a gold design around the edge. The design is at the top area as well but in the picture it is in the shadow. The image on the plate is of a man on a rearing horse blowing a horn, with a Russian city or town in the background. There is a long bearded man in the sky above. It may commemorate a Russian event or legend. On the back there is a fishing line string going through two holes to hang it on a wall. The plate measures 7-1/2'' wide. It appears to be in mint condition as pictured. |
