| | | | The picture shows a view of all (3) Colorful Old Unused Japanese Wood Block Print Match Boxes in this lot. These are not dated but they are old. These were originally wrapped together in cellophane. The cellophane cracked and fell apart but the right one is still wrapped. Inside the wrapped one is a small label on the side that is marked ''MADE IN JAPAN © VIKING''. Each box is full of the original match sticks. The matchboxes are made of wood wrapped in a thin paper that has a colorful wood block print. The Artist who created the prints is unknown. The drawers holding the matches are made of cardboard and there is a striker on one side. Each matchbox measures 2-1/2'' x 2-1/2'' x 3/8''. All three appear to be in mint condition as pictured. |
