The picture shows a front and back view of this Old Black Memorabilia Folk Art Sewing Pin Cushion. This is a great piece of Black Americana! It is also believed to be a folk art item. The pin cushion is of a black Mammy head with sewn on head covering. There are painted on features that are worn but still visable. It is not dated or marked in any way but it is believed to be old. It feels like it is filled with sand but I am not sure. It measures 1-1/2" wide. Please see pictures for the condition.
