These newspapers are called ''THE SPARTAN'' and they were a publication of The U.S. Army Infantry Replacement Training Center ( ) and The Service Command. The papers have four pages each that are filled with a lot of stories and pictures. Luckily or thankfully some Soldier had saved (15) consecutive issues of the newspaper from October 4th, 1944 to January 11th, 1945.
