| | | | The pictures show a view of this Old Boxed Mile-O-Graph Mileage Measuring Tool with Instructions. The tool is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1940s or 1950s. Using this tool you would find the mileage on a map. You would set the scale of the map by turning the white dial on the end and then holding it upright, roll the metal end wheel along the road on the map. The milage with show on the paper roll throgh the window on the side. This tool came from The Joseph Mennen Company of Woodmere, New York. To judge the sizes the box measures 7-1/8'' x 1-5/8'' x 3/4''. The tool and box appear to be in excellent condition as pictured. Please note: Because of the age of this tool, the small rubber band under the end cap needs to be replaced and the band inside needs to be some how tightened. To do this the plastic tool will need to be taken apart at the seam and then reglued. |
