The picture below shows larger front and back views of this 1920s Sam Cook Whistling Minstrel CrackerJack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Metal Toy Prize Mouth Flute Whistle. This whistle is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1920s. CrackerJack used many tin toy mouth flutes as prizes in the 1920s and 1930s. This may be one of them, or given out at a show as a souvenir by singer Sam Cook. It is embossed “SAM COOK THE WHISTLING MINSTREL”. The manufacturer is unknown. The mouth flute or whistle measures about 1-11/16'' x 1-11/16'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in very good condition as pictured.
