The picture below shows larger top and bottom views of all (4) 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Metal Toy Prize Whistles in this lot. These are all the same whistle where your fingers would cover the two open sides for it to work. Included here are silver, red, green, and blue painted versions. These are embossed “CLOSE END WITH FINGERS”. There was also another version made at the same time that was embossed “CRACKER JACK”, but they are not included here. These have the Cracker Jack ID number Z-0436 and they were all made by The Gray Stamping and Manufacturing Company of Plano, Illinois. They were first ordered by The Cracker Jack Company in 1931 and re-ordered again in 1937. All four of these whistles for one price! To judge the sizes, the bottom one measures about 1-1/2'' long. They appear to range from good to excellent or better condition as pictured.
