| | | | The pictures below shows larger top and bottom views of all (3) 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Metal Toy Prize Whistles in this lot. Two of these whistles have an animal head embossed (elephant and horse) on the mouth piece and the third has a diamond shape and “JAPAN”. The elephant one is also stamped “JAPAN” on the bottom. There were other versions with different designs made as well. Each of these has a charm loop to hang on a chain or string. One has a ring loop as well. These have the Cracker Jack ID number Z-0511. They were from the Illinois Metal Novelty Manufacturing Company, of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, and they were made in Japan. All three of these whistles for one price! To judge the sizes, the center one measures about 1-3/4'' long. They appear to be in good to excellent used condition as pictured. |
