The cover pictures a young boy on a pier or dock with a large ocean liner ship, an airplane, an airship, an automobile, and a train. Inside there are old colorful images every few pages of many many modes of transportation. The book stops just before television sets were available. The book measures about 6'' x 8'' x 3/4''. It appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. There are a few page tears, light soiling from handling, and a little page corner wear.
