| | | The picture shows a view of one of the (5) Old Boston, Massachusetts Mansfield For Mayor Political Campaign Pin Back Buttons in this lot. The other four that are included are identical. Frederick W. Mansfield was mayor of Boston 1934 - 1938 replacing James Curley. He had been defeated by Curley in the 1929 election. They are imprinted in red and blue on a white background. They have a paper insert in the back with a Union logo. They each picture Mansfield in the center and they are marked as follows: FOR BOSTON'S GOOD NAME MANSFIELD FOR MAYOR The pinback buttons each measure 7/8'' wide. They are in near mint to mint condition as pictured. |
