The picture below shows a larger view of all (8) panels of this ©1957 Bachmann Plasticville U.S.A. Catalog Play Guide Brochure. This brochure probably came with one of the plastic model kits. It was from Bachmann Bros., Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Two panels picture a Plasticville, U.S.A. town. It advertises many items with pictures and prices including the following: Train signal bridge, switch tower, suburban train station with benches, station platform, trestle bridge, spruce tree, telephone pole, crossing gate, Union Railroad Station, loading platform, water tank, Plasticville citizens (people figures), factory, church, ranch house, turnpike interchange, street light, flag pole, railroad and street signs, pine trees, playground equipment and pool, gas station with car, Television station, frosty ice cream bar, motel with automobiles, rancher house, farm with structures and animals, billboard sign, picket fence, mansion, another church, barn, and barnyard animals. The fully opened catalog brochure measures about 21-7/8'' x 4-1/8''. It appears to be in near mint condition as pictured. It has a vertical fold, probably to fit in the toy packaging. |
