The picture below shows a larger view of all (26) Old Dionne Quintuplets Convention Souvenir Items in this lot. Most of these items have images of the Dionne Quintuplets: Yvonne, Cecile, Annette, Emilie, and Marie. Most of these items are dated 1984 and came from a 50th birthday convention. The Quint Collectors Club met at the Holiday Inn in Burlington, Massachusetts. There are a variety of items here including the following: There are (5) greeting note cards with envelopes. These are of different color paper and they each have a 1939 image of the Quintuplets. There is a photograph wall plaque. The plaque is made of particle board and under a thick layer of resin there is a color photograph of the Quintuplet girls. There is a metal hanger on the back for hanging. Next there are (2) heavy glass photograph paperweights. These are identical. Inside is a photo of the girls in a boat fishing. The back, or bottom has light blue felt and a sticker that mentions that the club was founded in 1979. From a Charter Member there is a box that contains (5) small plastic baby dolls in a lacy pink blanket pocket. The arms & legs of the miniature dolls are jointed and the eyes open and close. Next is a plexiglas keychain with the Quints and a business card from the club with a Woburn, Massachusetts address. There is a plastic box with a special made decal for the 50th birthday convention. Inside there are (10) miniature or doll house Quintuplets items. These include (7) different books or booklets, (2) hand held fans, and a pennant. There is a photo pinback button with an imprinted pink ribbon. The photograph is of the toddler girls outside in the winter. Two are on a sled. The ribbon reads as follows: DIONNE QUINT COLLECTORS 50th ANNIVERSARY OF BIRTH 1934 - 1984 The last (4) items in this lot are convention advertising pencils. The first one reads ''DIONNE QUINT COLLECTORS QUINVENTION'' and ''WE'RE FIVE YEARS OLD 1979 - 1984''. Two are sharpened and two are not. To judge the sizes the pencils each measure about 7-1/2'' long. All of these items appear to be in near mint or mint condition as pictured. |
