| | | The pictures below show larger front and back views of all (4) Different Early 1900s United States Coast Guard Revenue Cutter Service Post Cards, With the Bonus in this lot. The bonus included here are paper clipping pages where these exact postcards were featured in an article. The cards are shown with the printed copies. As you can see, we have the article that the post cards are in, included here, but we do not have the complete paper. If you want to hunt it down, it is as follows: AUGUST 15, 1990 THE ANTIQUE TRADER WEEKLY DUBUQUE, IOWA Three of the four post cards here are in color. They are all from Raphael Tuck & Sons Card Series NO #2325, “U.S.REVENUE CUTTER SERVICE.”. Two of them were postmarked and mailed with a green Benjamin Franklin one cent postage stamp. One was sent to New York and one to Massachusetts. The titles or captions on the four included post cards are as follows: U.S. REVENUE CUTTER SERVICE. CADETS IN FIRING POSITION. The post cards each measure about 5-7/16'' x 3-7/16''. The cards appear to be in excellent used to mint unused condition as pictured. Two are unused, and two are used. One of the used ones has an upper right corner creased as pictured. The mailed ones have some writing that may be helpful. |
