| | | | The pictures below show larger views of all (6) 1940s Waterman Steamship Corporation Mobile Alabama Paper Items in this lot. These items were all found together. Included in this lot is a January 1st 1945 letter to employees from President N. Nicolson mentioning a booklet, which is also included here. The (34 page) booklet is “Retirement Plan For Employees”. It has the ship's flag on the cover and is also dated January 1, 1945. The next item is date stamped Dec 3, 1943 and signed. It appears to be a form for an employee to sign something out. It is also stamped “War Time Safety Measures” and “Visual Signal Guide”. The other three papers here are all the same. They are titled “U.S. Navigation Laws”. All of these for one price! To judge the sizes the booklet measures 6'' x 8-7/8''. These items appear to be in good to excellent condition as pictured. It doesn't show up on the picture, but the booklet has some creasing in the upper right corner of the cover. |
