| | | | The pictures show a front and back view of this Large 1939 Swenson Brothers Dairy Farm Advertising Premium Calendar. This large colorful printed picture calendar has a picture of a boy and his dog under a shady tree by Artist Adelaide Hiebel (1886 - 1968). At the bottom, under a cover, is an unused 1939 calendar with a page for each month. The premium calendar came from the Swenson Bothers of Kelsey Ranch and Greenfield Farms of Lexington, Massachusetts. There is some advertising on the back and a poem on the front. There is a hole at the top to hang it on a wall. The wood grain card stock calendar measures 12'' x 15''. It appears to be in good unused condition. The picture has a wear spot on the left and a diagonal crease. The woodgrain area has a 1-1/2'' tear on the left side, a 1'' tear on the right, and some light edge wear as pictured. |
