We have been told that this was a railroad company or train uniform button, but we do not know for sure. It is not dated and the year that it was made is unknown. The front is made of brass and the back is steel. There is an old ring through the shank on the back. The button has a raised image of a pine tree, a star and it is marked: PINE TREE The button measures about 13/16'' wide. It appears to be in fair condition with some surface rusting as pictured. |
