| | | | The pictures below show several larger views of this Old Carved Folk Art Wooden Bear Novelty Moving Mechanical Paddle Toy. The toy is not dated but it is old. The maker is also unknown. On top of the paddle are two bears, one with a drum, and the other is kicking or dancing. The way this works is you hold the handle in one hand, and slowing move the hanging wooden ball. With the ball moving, the strings make one bear play the drum, and the other bear kick its leg. The toy is not marked. To judge the sizes the larger bear measures about 3-1/2'' tall. It works well appears to be in excellent condition as pictured. |
