| | | | The pictures below show larger views of this Old Boxed Mother of Pearl & Brass Binoculars or Opera Glasses. The set is not dated and the year that these were made are unknown. They are marked “JAPAN” but the maker is unknown. The only other marking on them is on the metal and it reds “3X BINOLUX”. The white rings and the center gear are probably made of plastic. The binoculars look very nice. When fully opened the binoculars lens sections measure about 2-1/4'' long. The set appears to be in mint condition as pictured. They come in a case box that is silk like on the outside and white velvet inside. Concerning the case box, the outside gold strands are coming loose as pictured, and on the inside there is old yellowed spotting on the white velvet. |
