The picture below shows a larger view of all (10) Small Old Unusual Boy Scouts of America Items in this lot. This is an accumulated lot. The years that these are from are unknown, but all of them are old. Included here are the following: There is a leather belt pouch with two pockets for a folding fork, and spoon set. Only the fork is included here. The leather pouch has two slotted loops on the back for a belt to go through. The top section of the snap is missing but it can be easily replaced. On the flap is an embossed or stamped Boy Scouts insignia and it reads: BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICAN NATIONAL COUNCIL NEW YORK CITY The only utensil left is the unusual folding fork. It is marked: GEO. SCHRADE KNIFE CO. INC. PAT. - 1 – 72 – 42 B’PORT, CONN., U.S.A. There is an old Boy Scouts leather knife sheath. The Boy Scout insignia is on the metal snap. There is a slotted loop on the back for a belt to go through. There is no knofe included, only the leather sheath. Next is an old boxed Silva Boy Scout compass with instructions. The Silva Compass was made in Sweden for Silva, Inc. of La Port, Indiana. It was sold by your local Boy Scout Distributor, or National Supply ServiceThis is a nice looking metal & plastic compass that is in great condition. With it is a two sided (36 panel) fold out detailed instruction sheet. There is also a paper advertisement for another compass with a topographical map. Both paper items are in mint condition. The box has wear and spit corners, and the plastic box cover has cracking. There are (3) old Boy Scout cake decoration figures in uniform. These were probably made for Wilton. They are seated figures and they are each marked: NO. 771 HONG KONG There is a miniature toy doll or action figure uniform and canteen. We would guess that this was from Kenner’s Steve or Bob Scout. There is a shirt with a neckerchief and a sticker patch, a pair of pants, and a miniature red plastic canteen. The final item in this lot is what appears to be a clear plastic candy or chocolate mold. It has one larger Boy Scout insignia and eight smaller ones. It appears to be unused, but it has a bend, probably from storage. All ten of these unusual Boy Scout items for one price! To judge the sizes the opened fork measures about 5-3/4'' long. These items appear to range from fair to excellent condition as pictured. |
