The picture shows a view of all (8) Different Old Royal Canadian Mounted Police Souvenir Items in this lot. These items are not dated but all of them are old except maybe one of the pins. There are (3) different souvenir plates, each with a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman on a horse. The smallest one has a crest on the back. It is marked on the two sides as follows: THE ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE CANADA WOOD & SONS BURSLEM ENGLAND The left plate has a painted gold rim and (4) gold maple leaves. Ithas a marking on the back with a crown. It is marked on the two sides as follows: THE ROYAL CANADIAN MOUNTED POLICE ELBRO HAND DECORATED The third or right plate is mounted inside a wooden frame with birch bark veneer on the front and back. There is a string on the back for hanging. It has (5) gold maple leaves and it is marked on the two sides as follows: SOUVENIR OF CANADA SOUVENIR OF CANADA SOUVENIR OF HARDWOOD RIDGE NB JAPAN The next item in this lot is an old celluloid pin back button with a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman. It reads as follows: I VISITED ONTARIO CANADA Next is another pin. It has a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman saluting with a red maple leaf and ''CANADA''. There are (3) old Canadian postcards. Two of them are identical and unused. Those two picture a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman on a horse. They were made in Boston, Massachusetts by Colourpicture Publishers, Inc.. The other post card pictures a Royal Canadian Mounted Policeman and a Native Indian shaking hands. It was used and it has a message on the back, an 11c United States Air Mail postage stamp and a July 1972 postmark. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the plate on the left measures 5-1/2'' wide. These items appear to vary from good to mint condition as pictured. The one post card was used and the celluloid pinback button has some spotting and light surface rusting on the back. |
