The card has many downtown buildings and stores as well as many old parked cars. There is a Red Cross flag hanging from a window and some of the signs can be read such as an F. W. Woolworth Company store, Puritan Restaurant, Thomas Business College, Bowling Alleys, and a round Coca-Cola sign. The post card is marked on the two sides as follows: Main Street, Waterville, Maine
