There are two pictures showing four views of this Old Lithographed Tin Toy Truck With Cattle Trailer. I do not know when this truck was made or sold, but I would guess it is from the 1940's or 1950's. It is made entirely of tin with the exception of the rubber wheels. The truck cab is red, white, and gray. It has a hood ornament and a friction mechanism that works good. The bottom is stamped "JAPAN". It has some paint chipped and some light rust spots. The trailer is a cattle car that has diecut sides to see inside. It probably originally came with cow figures, I don't know. The top is silver, the sides are yellow, and the bottom is black. The lower right of the very back is marked "JAPAN". It has some light overall wear and a missing back door as pictured. It is marked on both sides as follows: TEXAS CATTLE ROUND UP, INC. This tractor trailer measures 9-1/2" long x 2-7/8" tall. |
