| | | The picture shows a view of the (2) 1913 Large Group Image Real Photo Post Cards in this lot. The top postcard was mailed and the bottom one is unused. These cards have identical images but the one that was mailed is a little lighter. They appear to have been taken on the steps of a government building. The one that was mailed has a Washinton, D.C. postmark that is dated March 20, 1913. It has a one cent Balboa 1513 postage stamp, a short message from a woman named Clara, and it was sent to a Gardiner, Maine address. It is unknown who this group of people are. Every woman in the group is wearing a hat and some in the front are seen with purses. The post cards each measure 5-3/8'' x 3-3/8''. The top one is in excellent used condition and the bottom one is in mint unused condition as pictured. |
