They were usually licensed by United Features Syndicate, Inc. or The Los Angeles Times newspaper. Remember these cute nude comic or cartoon characters from the newspaper? The tune it plays is loud and clear and is believed to be ''Somewhere My Love'' (Laura's Theme from Dr, Zhivago). While the music plays, the ceramic figurine revolves around as the smiling mechanical figures go up and down on the see saw or teeter totter. The saying reads as follows: LOVE IS...
