The picture below shows larger front and back views of all (4) 1930s Cracker Jack Pop Corn Confection Embossed Tin Metal Toy Prize Whistles in this lot. All four of these whistles are frying pan or spoon shaped and all of them are marked “JAPAN”. One is red, white, blue, and yellow, one has a checkered pattern, and the other two are tiny mandolins or guitars. There were many other similar versions that were made. The two matching ones are made of repurposed or recycled tin. You can see some colored print inside. Most of these would have the Cracker Jack ID number Z-0536, and they would be from Taneya & Company of Japan. All four of these whistles for one price! To judge the sizes, the largest whistle in this lot measures about 1-3/8'' long. They appear to be in good to excellent used condition as pictured.
