The picture below shows a larger view of all (27) Different Small United States Air Force and Airman Related Items in this lot. Only the years of some of these items are known. This is an accumulated lot with a variety of items. Included here are the following: There is a 1954 (18) page illustrated booklet weighing the advantages of reenlisting or civilian life. There is an “Operation Roger News” for Headquarters Air Defense Command, Mitchel Air Force Base in New York brochure with stories inside. It is to subscribe to the paper. One of the two change of address post cards inside was used. There is a 1969 four page advertising brochure from the U.S. Air Force Academy Planetarium. Next there are (2) unopened, unused, and carded Air Force Retired personnel lapel pins. There is an Air Force Base Conversion Agency Teamwork ink pen. There are (2) Air Force uniform patches and (3) rank patches, as well as (2) rank pins, and a rank neck tie bar. There are (5) various U.S.A.F. pins including one with a jet plane, with the Air Force insignia, with an Air Force logo, one from the Air Force Academy, and one in the shape of dog tags picturing two Strategic Air Command insignia from the American Legion. There is a neck tie bar with an Air Force emblem, and enameled Air Force Museum keychain, a USAF jet aircraft necklace pendant charm, and another pendant or key chain fob wings from the 50th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force (1947 – 1997). The final four items in this lot are toy items. One is a miniature SR-71 Bluebird airplane. A smaller toy jet plane, an F-16 Enduring Freedom trading card, and finally an unused sheet of model kit decals for a B-52 model airplane. All of these items for one price! To judge the sizes the center booklet measures about 5-1/2'' x 7-5/8''. These items appear to range from excellent to mint condition as pictured. |
