| The picture shows a view of the (2) Old Unused Car Go Humble Oil Advertising Premium Game Cards in this lot. The two cards are identical and one side is shown of each. These are not dated but they are believed to be from the 1950s. Besides advertising, the purpose of these game cards is to keep children occupied while traveling in a car. One game ''CARGO'' is played like Bingo. Items pictured on the card are crossed out when seen until, like Bingo, you get five in a row or cross out all the spaces on a card. There are commonly seen images like: a truck, road signs, traffic light, horse, dog, gas pump, tractor, cow, bridge, bus, trailer, bicycle, and more. The other game is called ''OUTER SPACE CONTROL''. It is played like the game Battleship, only instead of using ships, you are to imagine squares being: Missiles, Rockets, and Platforms. You take turns calling out numbers and letters trying to hit and destroy you opponents items. There are instructions for both games. The cards advertise for Humble Oil & Refining Company and Uniflo Motor Oil. They picture their ''Happy Motoring'' Oil Drop advertising character. The cards each measure 7'' x 5-3/4''. They appear to be in mint unused condition as pictured. |
