The whistle is not dated but it was used as a prize in the 1930s. The Cracker Jack ID number for this prize is Z-0561. It was from Wm. Shaland (Nat Shaland & Son) of New York, N.Y. and Made in Japan. It is marked on the top “MADE IN JAPAN”. The prize whistle measures about 1-3/8'' x 1-3/4'' x 1/4''. It appears to be in good used condition with some wear from use as pictured. |
