The picture shows a view of this Large 1897 Pearline Soap Advertising Print with a Young Girl. This advertisement was once in a large unknown publication from March 1897. It is printed in green ink. It is dated on the back and there are (17) smaller Victorian advertisements printed in black on the back. This advertisement was found in an old wooden frame but the frame was damaged so it was removed. The print has an image of a young cleaning girl with a dust pan, brush, wooden pail or bucket, and a rag. The engraved image is titled ''MY BUSY DAY.''. It is copyright dated 1891 and marked ''Henry Ihlfield''. The bottom has a message to Grocers and the rest of the ad is marked as follows: MILLIONS USE PEARLINE! For House Cleaning & Washing Clothes Dishes Glassware Silver. Saves Time Patience Money Health Wear and Tear. Beware of Imitations The advertisement measures 10-1/8'' x 15-5/8''. It is in good condition with some age discoloration, some spotting, and a lower left corner crease as pictured. On the back there is a small amount of some type of foamy white adhesive at each corner where it was mounted on green paper in the frame that it was removed from. |
