This box is not dated but it is believed to be from the 1800s. The box is empty. It has a graphic image of a swan in a pond or lake with plants. It has a scrollwork frame on the lid and a blue spotted design on the sides. The box is marked as follows: 1 GRO. NO. 1. NORTH STANLEY & CO'S SILVERED
